Sky Fire Ranch

Sky Fire Ranch is a five-acre artist homestead in Wonder Valley, California, just outside Joshua Tree National Park.

I first discovered the property in 2020, I saw my future and my past dreams all at once. The ad on Facebook had a short description that read well 5 acres palm trees Wonder Valley. I was there a couple hours later. I knew immediately it was a project worth pursuing, allthough it was definitely a project.

Over the years, the property has become far more than a home. It has evolved into an ongoing creative project where art, craftsmanship, and desert living intersect. Much of what visitors see today has been designed, built, restored, or reimagined by hand. Every improvement, structure, pathway, and detail reflects thousands of hours of work and a commitment to creating something unique in the Mojave Desert.

The surrounding landscape offers a kind of solitude that is becoming increasingly rare. Days are defined by wide-open skies, distant mountain ranges, desert wildlife, and spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Nights reveal a canopy of stars largely untouched by city lights. It is a place that encourages reflection, creativity, and a slower pace of life.

Sky Fire Ranch also serves as my studio and creative headquarters. Many of the paintings featured throughout this website were conceived and created here, shaped by the quiet beauty and rugged character of the desert. In many ways, the ranch itself has become an extension of my artistic practice—a living work of art that continues to evolve alongside the paintings.

Today, visitors have the opportunity to experience Sky Fire Ranch for themselves. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful desert retreat, creative inspiration, or simply a unique place to stay, I invite you to become part of the story and experience the property firsthand.
